32 Stadiums,32 Days continues today with our largest selection so far. Because, as you know, EVERYTHING is bigger in Texas. And everything about this stadium is big, from its name to its capacity. Darrell K. Royal–Texas Memorial Stadium , located in Austin, Texas, is the home of the University of Texas Longhorns. The stadium seating capacity of 100,119 makes the stadium the second largest stadium in the state of Texas (behind the Dallas Cowboys billion dollar Jerry World/AT&T Stadium), the largest in the Big 12 Conference, the eighth largest stadium in the United States, and the ninth largest stadium in the world!

On Thanksgiving Day, 1924, the stadium was originally dedicated after the Texas student body voted to name the stadium in honor of the near 200,000 Texans who fought in World War I and the 5,200 who lost their lives doing so. Then 53 years later in 1977, the stadium was rededicated to the veterans of all wars.

The DKR–Texas Memorial Stadium attendance record of 101,851 fan was set on October 6, 2012, when Texas played the West Virginia University Mountaineers.
