The quote by the famous philosopher/essayist/poet/novelist/overall smart guy is ringing true more than ever in collegiate athletics locker rooms today, as the new hottest social media trend is an unlikely combination of two huge pieces of 90s pop culture: the running man and the 1996 one hit wonder “My Boo” by the Ghost Town DJ’s.

It’s called The Running Man Challenge and, after being issued by the Maryland Terrapins basketball team, has been making its rounds through Division I locker rooms everywhere, including Michigan football, Pitt baseball, Rutgers football UNC basketball, with even a couple recent pros and the Harlem Globetrotters getting in on the mix.
